A new partner for Arkwood
Arkwood is pleased to anounce the arrival of Diane Le Grand de Belleroche as a partner.
A member of the Paris Bar since 2004 and a solicitor in England and Wales since 2008, Diane specializes in international inheritance matters, particularly cases involving France and common law jurisdictions (United Kingdom, United States).
She works primarily in English, her working language, alongside clients facing cross-border legal and tax issues.
She assists her clients with:
– estate planning, in coordination with foreign advisors and for the drafting of French wills;
– the settlement of international successions in France, including identifying the applicable law, coordinating procedures, and drafting certificates of custom;
– situations impacting the future transfer of assets, particularly in the case of real estate acquisitions in France.
A graduate of Paris I (Sorbonne), Paris II (Assas), and Oxford universities, she also holds a doctorate in private international law (Paris I), with a thesis on trusts.
Dividing her time between Paris and London, Diane regularly speaks at conferences, publishes in specialized journals, and teaches at Université Paris Dauphine-PSL.
She is an active member of several professional associations in France and abroad, including STEP New York, the Association des Juristes Franco-Britanniques, the TIAETL, the Comité français de droit international privé, and the American Bar Association.
